Dear Homeowners,
We are writing to remind everyone of our upcoming annual membership meeting, which will be held on November 4th. During this meeting, we will be voting on a new board of directors for the HOA.
At this time, we have a particular need for a board member with experience in finance or someone who is comfortable with budgeting and financial oversight. The role would involve managing our finances on a monthly basis to ensure we are tracking to budget, verifying that our expense accounts are being used correctly, and assisting with annual budgeting activities. We estimate this would require about 2 hours per month, with potentially a few additional hours during budget season.
Please note that our management company handles most of the heavy lifting in terms of payments and reconciliations. However, we are looking for someone who can double-check our accounts and ensure we are staying within our budget.
